Carlos Rondón Moreno
Carlos Rondón Moreno obtained a BA and a MA in Economics from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. Before joining the University of Notre Dame, Carlos worked at the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund. During his tenure at these institutions, Carlos participated in several research projects regarding Economic Development and Macroeconomic Stability in Latin America and the Caribbean. His research interests are international finance and monetary policy in Emerging Countries. In these areas, Carlos is mostly interested in extreme events such as Financial Bubbles and Sudden Stops.
