Wyatt Brooks received his B.S. in mathematics and economics from the University of Washington in 2007 and received his M.A. and Ph.D in economics from the University of Minnesota in 2012. His principal research interests are in macroeconomics and international trade. Some of his recent work has focused on the role that financial frictions play in countries undergoing reform, and on the effect of international trade on the growth experiences of developing countries. At Notre Dame he teaches macroeconomics at the undergraduate level.
