Shamrock Series Panel: Combining Research & Practice to Serve the Poor

New research initiatives at Notre Dame aim to change the way social services are designed to improve the lives of the poor both here and abroad. Notre Dame economists are working directly with organizations such as Catholic Charities and Catholic Relief Services to study how best to help those most in need. This event includes panelists from Notre Dame’s Department of Economics, LEO, the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, and the Ford Family Program in Human Development Studies and Solidarity. Also present will be panelists from Catholic Charities Fort Worth, Catholic Relief Services, and MIT’s Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab.
