Kasey Buckles is a Professor of Economics and Concurrent Professor of Gender Studies. She is a research associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research, a Research Fellow with IZA Labor, and a Faculty Affiliate of the BYU Record Linking Lab. Her research interests include the economics of the family, economic demography, and child health and well-being. Recently, her work in these areas has focused on the United States from 1850-1940, and she is a co-PI on the NSF-funded Census Tree project, which links US censuses and other records for this period.
