Aram Derdzyan is from Armenia, where he worked as an Economist at Central Bank before joining the Ph.D. program at Notre Dame. He holds a B.A. degree in Economics (summa cum laude) from Yerevan State University (YSU). Aram has master degrees from YSU and International School of Economics at TSU (ISET) with majors in Business Administration and Economics. His research interests lie in Development Economics and Macroeconomics.
