Giorgi Piriashvili received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Georgia, Tbilisi. He graduated with M.A. in Economics from International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University (ISET). After graduation, he completed Teaching Fellowship Programme funded by CERGE-EI foundation, and then he was teaching Microeconomics and Industrial Organization at the University of Georgia, Tbilisi as an invited lecturer. At that time he was admitted to the master’s program in Applied Mathematics at Georgian Technical University. His research interests include Macroeconometrics, Industrial Organization, and Labor Economics.
