Abraham Tamru Assefa is from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Instructional Technologies from Sakarya University in Turkey, a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Maine, and an M.A. in Quantitative Economics from the University of Tartu. He has also worked as an intern research assistant at the Center for Excellence in Finance and Economic Research (CEFER) - Bank of Lithuania, where he worked on minimum wage laws and their effect on individuals' labor market participation. He is interested in Growth Theory, Monetary Economics, International Macro/Finance. In his freetime, he likes to play Soccer and exercise.
