Honors Society: ODE
Omicro Delta Epsilon (ODE) is the international economics honors society and one of the world's largest academic honor societies. Students who are eligible for membership in ODE receive a membership invitation from the Director of Undergraduate Economics Studies.
The Notre Dame Chapter of ODE is formally entitled the Beta Chapter of Indiana. It was organized during the early 1970s and is recognized by the University. As such, graduating seniors who are members are listed in the University's Commencement Exercises Program.
Presently the requirements for membership in ODE are:
- A cumulative grade point average of 3.667.
- A grade point average of 3.4 in economics with at least 12 credit hours in economics having been completed.
