Biography

David Phillips is a Research Professor of Economics at Notre Dame. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, he taught at Hope College and completed a Ph.D. in Economics from Georgetown University. His research interests include urban geography and poverty, public transit, criminal justice, and housing subsidies. He studies these topics using field experiments and quasi-experimental methods.
