Andrés Pérez Corsini is a trade economist with a focus on firm competition. His area of interest is on the firm's competitive responses to trade, and its aggregate effects. Andrés grew up in Montevideo, Uruguay. He graduated from Universidad de la República with a B.A. in Economics and has M.A. studies in Economics from the Universidad de Montevideo. From 2016 to 2019 he worked as senior consultant at the consulting firm CPA Ferrere, mostly in topics related to competition and regulation. He also worked as a teaching assistant at both the Universidad de la República and Universidad de Montevideo.
