Originally from Catania, Italy, Dario Cardamone graduated with Honours First Class from Queen Mary, University of London, with a B.S. in Economics and Finance. After graduation, Dario earned a joint master’s degree in Economics from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Before joining the Ph.D. program at Notre Dame, Dario pursued a supplementary course in macro-prudential policy at the Center for Research in International Economics, while simultaneously serving as a research assistant at BGSE. His research interests span three broad areas at the intersection of macroeconomics, international economics and econometrics.
