Guillermo Verduzco is an empirical macroeconomist whose research focuses on energy economics and commodity markets. During his PhD studies, he has contributed to research projects with the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund. Prior to joining Notre Dame, he worked as an Economist at the Central Bank of Mexico, where he was involved in the production of research notes and policy reports on topics such as fiscal sustainability, sovereign risk, and monetary policy.
