Virna Vidal Menezes is from Fortaleza, Brazil. Before joining the Ph.D. program at Notre Dame, she received her B.A and M.A in Economics from the Federal University of Ceara (UFC) and worked as a research assistant at the Research Institute for Technology and Innovation (IPTI). Her research interests include applied microeconomics with a focus on the economics of education.
