Biography
Jooyoung Cha is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Notre Dame. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 2025. Her research focuses on econometrics, especially high-dimensional methods, machine learning, and causal inference. One of her recent projects studies inference for local projections with many covariates.
