Alumni Board
The Department of Economics Alumni Board (DEAB), formed in 2022, is comprised of eight distinguished alumni from the department. The Board serves in an advisory capacity to the department and is available to interact with current students for mentoring and networking. The Board holds an annual meeting on campus each fall, during which it holds an open panel discussion on career pathways and a networking reception. Current students should feel free to contact any Board member for advice and mentorship.
“We are delighted to have this outstanding group of alums serve on our inaugural alumni board,” said Eric Sims, chairperson of the department. “These former students have gone on to a diverse set of career pathways and have rich professional experiences. Their counsel will be of tremendous benefit to the department and its students as we continue to strive to offer unsurpassed educational programming, to produce top-notch scholarship, and to meaningfully serve our community, our nation, and our world.”
