Tutoring
The economics department offers free, regular tutoring for core courses throughout the semester.
Department tutors for Intermediate Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Statistics for Economics, and Econometrics are available on a drop-in basis on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 6:30–8:30 p.m. in 240 DeBartolo Hall. Fall 2026 sessions begin on Monday, August 31st.
Drop-in Stata help sessions are held on Wednesday evenings from 5–7 p.m. in 3002 Jenkins-Nanovic Hall. Please stop by to get individual attention from students who have previously excelled in these courses.
You can find information on additional free tutoring options through the Learning Resource Center.
If you are interested in private tutoring (meeting times and compensation agreed on privately between tutor and student), please email the Director of Undergraduate Studies.
