The economics department offers you a variety of opportunities to get involved in both independent and faculty-led research. You can write an independent senior thesis, participate in research fellowships, or work for a faculty member as a research assistant. Funding is also available to support your research. We strongly encourage students interested in pursuing graduate study in economics to participate in research as undergraduates.
